At a press conference Wednesday morning Pam Bishop, a spokesman of Concerned Citizens of Lebanon County, joined other residents and landowners to speak out on their concerns of pipeline safety. 

Their goal is to have more public hearings so that public officials can be aware of the issues going on in their towns.

Rep. Cruz questions why Act 148 has yet to be implemented in PA hospitals

Rep. Angel Cruz (D-Philadelphia) joined advocates in the Media Center Tuesday morning to ask why the Pennsylvania Department of Health has yet to implement Act 148 after it was enacted in 2014 under former Gov. Tom Corbett .

Act 148 is also known as Hannah's Law, which would add Krabbe disease along with five others to the list of diseases hospitals are to screen for in newborns.

Advocates for decriminalization of 30 grams of cannabis in the commonwealth joined at a press conference Monday afternoon. 

Christy Billett was joined by other speakers who spoke out on the issues that people face daily by not being able to legally use cannabis, unlike multiple other states who have now made it legal.

Libre's Law not forgotten by the people of Pennsylvania

Sen. Richard Alloway (R-Franklin) was joined by Rep. David Parker (R-Monroe) and multiple advocates for HB 869 who were hoping to get Libre's Law through the House during the legislature's few remaining session days.

While HB 869 passed through the Senate with flying colors, Sen. Alloway isn't confident that it will be voted out of the House this week. He hopes it will be brought up when the legislature is together again in January.
