Legislators plan for legislation to reduce size of General Assembly by 2020

Choose a number in your head. Any number you want. Was it 203? That was the number chosen for the number of members in the House of Representatives, the most recent draft of the Pennsylvania constitution. That was not always how many members there were in the House, and some legislators want it to change again.

Sen. Elder Vogel (R-Beaver) spoke with The PLS Reporter about his plans for legislation in next session to downsize the legislature by 2020, as well as his previous attempts to do the same.
