Republicans bluntly critical of Fetterman’s marijuana listening tour

Four Republican lawmakers have banded together to denounce the marijuana legalization listening tour hosted by Pennsylvania Lieutenant Gov. John Fetterman, calling it a “sham” ahead of a stop in Franklin County. 
 
Representatives John Hershey (R-Juniata), Rob Kauffman (R-Franklin), Paul Schemel (R-Franklin), Jesse Topper (R-Bedford) released a joint statement questioning the motives behind Fetterman’s listening tour, and whether the lieutenant governor is really listening at all.

O'Neill announces end to reelection bid as Dems formalize four ballot replacements

One last state House Republican is out, and four Dems were officially put on the ballot this week as the lineups for state legislative elections are formalized two months prior to Election Day.

Rep. Bernie O’Neill (R-Bucks) withdrew from his race Aug. 13. The deadline for parties to file a replacement candidate is Aug. 23.
