Three-way race heats up ahead of Tuesday special election to replace Keller in 85th HD

A trio of candidates will be vying Tuesday to represent the House 85th District, with a write-in candidate hoping to throw a wrench into what is otherwise a solidly conservative district.

The seat, which covers parts of Snyder and Union counties, was left empty after now former Rep. Fred Keller won a special election to Congress earlier this year. Lewisburg businessman David Rowe is the Republican candidate and will face off against Sunbury physician and Democratic hopeful Jennifer Rager-Kay.
