Wheatley looks to the Attorney General to protect the gun rights of marijuana users

Right now, Pennsylvanians must choose between participating in the state’s medical marijuana program and gun ownership, due to marijuana’s classification as a Schedule I drug by the US Drug Enforcement Administration. 

One leading marijuana legalization advocate is looking to use the clout of the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office to give medical cannabis users a bit of protection from the federal restriction.

In adult hearing of Pittsburgh city council on burlesque, medical marijuana, child’s testimony shines

New medical marijuana laws and old zoning codes that classified crossdressing in the same vein as a strip club took center stage at two public Pittsburgh city council hearings Thursday afternoon. 

The former was held as a reaction to the opening of the city’s first two dispensaries since Pennsylvania legalized cannabis for medical purposes in 2016.
